Need help choosing between two shades of purple

Good evening, gents I figured out I needed a pair of purple barathea braces, unfortunately for me they make them in two shades, now I can't seem to decide. The shirts will be white or light blue and the shoes will be black, so both white and black ends should work fine. The braces will mainly be worn with navy suits with pinstripes or pencilstripes. Any thoughts?

I think the Amethyst is bar far the better choice. The other purple looks flat and is too dark for light-blue/white shirts. Although I do prefer the black ends, but as far as the actual color of the brace -- definitely the amethyst.

Yeah I think I'm leaning towards it as well... I like to match the "intensity" of my braces with my ties, so the imperial purple would require very very strong coloured ties to prevent it from taking over the outfit, while the amethyst is more harmonic.

Also agree about the ends, assuming that the shirt is anything but white, but when it is white I think white ends looks nice and crisp. Slightly limits the combination possibilities, but I do wear white shirts a lot so it's not that big a deal, not as if I was planning on wearing daily in any case.

I would go with the lighter purple the other is too dark adn would not seem to be as versatile as the other seems to be.
