I am now living in NYC and starting to interview at record labels, artist management firms, etc. for intern positions.

I seriously have never had a job that called for much more then t-shirt and jeans. I need a complete wardrobe appropriate for interviews including shoes, pants, belt, shirt, and I don't even know where to start. I don't even own a pair of jeans that are appropriate to wear for casual dress, ALL my current clothes are tight-fitting/musician style more appropriate for playing shows.

I need to put something together ASAP as I have interviews lined up and nothing to wear.

Any advice offered is much appreciated, the more specific the better.

For example, what are some fail safe stores to go to in NYC?

And what should I be looking for? I am not sure what kind of attire is really appropriate for the type of positions I am applying for.

Also, I am fairly skinny so more slim European cut clothing I think would work better for me. I've tried typical American chain stores but there sizing/cuts are always really big on me. I don't know where else to shop as I am still new to the city. I need slim cut but still business appropriate I guess you could say.
