Need an advice on a winter scarf please.
Wool + cashmere or cashmere.
I have been stuck with Burberry’s scarf for a few years and I see too many of those patterns around nowadays(beige/brown/black). I have a dark green wool 3/4 coat, medium brown ¾ coat and black ¾ coat. I’d appreciate suggestions for colors as well as vendors.

Thank you.

I recommend the Johnstons cashmere scarves on STP that were just bumped down to $30 apiece.

Saw some nice ones at Dunhill a couple of weeks ago - interesting ones with three/four different but complementarily coloured segments, also the cashmere was sooo soft

Currently I don't have many scarves: one extra long and wide black Burberry with the crest that I wear with overcoats and one loosely woven blue/white stripe in the 'collegiate' style. Scottish scarves are nice, I remember admiring the Pringles back in Glasgow.

I do find 100% merino wools slightly scratchy, but it's really not noticeable so I use them. Cashmere scarves are just too hard for me to maintain.

I've got a Banana Republic merino wool scarf that is really soft, actually. It was a good investment.

Neiman Marcus had a beautiful Sciarpa baby cashmere scarf in the Loro Piana section. Very expensive but the color and pattern caught my eye. (i don't own it mind you).
