If you buy one *************, I'll sell you another for $100. Does that sound like a good deal?

If you wait for a "buy one get one for $100" sale, then you'll own two suits from MW for $900, or an average of $450 each.

You can find much better suits than this for $450 or less (suitsupply is one example - but there are others).

Thanks to everyone. I am now considering the Joseph Abboud half canvassed suit for $495. Would this be a better deal?

You are getting better, but still not there. You are not getting more responses because there are so many threads on this subject. Use the search function.

Cripes.

Figure out your size and go on Ebay. You can get a very nice, fully canvassed suit for $500 or less there. If you are concerned about measurements, buy one with a return policy.

Brands you might look at include:
Hickey Freeman
Oxxford
Zegna
Canali
Corneliani
Pal Zileri
Samuelsohn
Paul Stuart

....the list goes on

Unless you're an unpopular size you will have a very difficult time finding any of these NWT for the $495 of the half canvas Abboud. If your budget is higher then a couple of those are realistic. It'll be difficult to find some of those under $1000 (Oxxford, Canali, Zegna).

Under no circumstances should you buy it or any other suit from Men's Wearhouse.

Someone who was seriously considering a black $100 Pronto Uomo suit shouldn't be buying (without trying on first) from eBay or even a more reliable online website. Abboud half-canvassed for $500 - maybe okay. Jos. A. Bank Signature Gold (half-canvassed) might be available for about that, depending on color and size. Fit and other basics should be understood first.
