I'm getting married in a couple weeks and need a little assistance on the fit of these suits, both are from JCREW. The grey suit is the unstructured wool/cotton suit they offer and the blue suit is the Thompson in Navy, obviously the pants need to be shortened but any advice? It's going to be quite warm during my wedding which is why I thought cotton mix would be better but i'm worrying about it wrinkling more than the wool.

Keep in mind that most unstructured jackets have very little in them to be able to tailor. Therefore the fit has to be spot on.

To me the lapels seem too small for your broad chest. In other words it looks unbalance and as such not the best option for you. This is just my opinion as I am sure other people on here might think differently.

The fabric is not something I would worry about seeing you will be standing at the alter. Once you go to your reception assuming that you're going to have one the jacket will most likely be taken off.

I prefer the grey suit. The lapels are thicker and I think that suits you well. I like the fit in the shoulders. And I like that the grey has an earthy undertone. I think it'll look better in photos too.

The navy suit looks like it's thick to me. It's nice and fits well, but I think you''ll look better in the grey for the photos.

Whichever choice you choose, make sure you tuck in the pocket flaps. It just helps to formalize your look.

Congrats and all the best!
