So I just picked up this shirt from Proper Cloth and plan on wearing it to a wedding next month with a navy hopsack sport coat, some light tan linen trousers and walnut dress shoes (AE). I'm having a problem picking a tie and was hoping for some suggestions. I was thinking a plain navy grenadine, shantung, or linen would be a safe choice but would a lighter colour blue or pale pink work in this situation as well? There's quite a bit going on with the shirt so that's why I was leaning towards a solid. Interested in hearing if any other colours/patters would work as well?

In case you didn't notice, I suck at picking ties :) Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I would personally choose a purple or violet coulour plain pattern like so https://www.google.es/url?sa=i&sour...aw2E-Q8oMKDYoQ2ubp-RP93F&ust=1532081249656606
