1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

doesn't the fabric look different? I'm pretty sure Efron's is not satin.

Satin is much more formal than twill weave. High sheen

Wouldn't one be more shiny than another?

Alfred Dunhill ties have a good, slightly-narrow width. There's no pindot on their website, but if you have a store/stockist near you, I would recommend having a look if you don't like your ties too fat.

    Brooks Brothers do a similar-looking one that's 2 7/8".

You have got a good eye, sir.
The most similar one i've found so far is this one:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/DOLCE-GABBANA-RP...#ht_2646wt_905

It's more narrow and the pattern is more busy, but I could see in some photos that efron's tie was not a simple pin dot, the dots are on a faintly checkered background.

Don't buy it. It will cause scandalous nude pictures of the woman you're with to end up all over the web.

It looks like it the same one!!!

However, the size is different so I guess it is a dealbreaker.

It doesn't look the same, even if size didn't matter, the BB one is textured/low sheen.

Why do you need the exact same one? Wearing it won't turn you into Zac Efron you know...

I don't really like him, and the rest of his ensemble is shit. It doesn't have to be exact, but I like the look of white pin dots with a lot of separation on black, and I like the high sheen look.

I've decided that I will make my own four-fold tie if I can find a silk fabric like the one in the photo.
