Need a tie and shirt recommendation for this suit

    If that is, as I suspect, dark gray, then white shirt, navy tie with a subtle pattern, or perhaps a dark, dark eggplant?

    white shirts with a dark color(maroon,navy blue,etc) skinny tie to match the lapels

    What are you wearing this suit for? White shirt and navy tie is probably the most conservative option for a dark grey suit (which this appears to be). If you want to go with a less conservative approach (not recommended for interviews or the like), you could wear a light blue shirt (still reasonably conservative) with most tie colors other than light blue, a pink shirt with dark blue, brown or burgundy, or a lilac shirt with dark blue or green.

    Thank you, white shirt with navy tie it is. Is a grenadine tie okay?
