I have a topcoat, the sleeves are too long. Any recommendations for a tailor at the <50$ price point?

It's linen/cotton and definitely not something easy to do like a shirt, actually I don't even know if it's possible.

Help me sf!

I second the Stanton Tailors recommendation. They know what they're doing.

Stanton Tailors and LNC are your two best bets I think.

I was by Stanton last Sat and they are VERY busy. If you need the coat VERY soon, you may have to wait a few weeks.

There is a massive thread on this one, which you should read- it's comprehensive. For what it's worth, I've had good luck with Peppino (61st and Lex), much better than with Wilfred's.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
