Need a source for distinguished walking sticks or canes

My first professional mentor has reached the point in life when he can no longer trust his balance and dexterity. I had breakfast with him this morning and we discussed the option of using a walking stick or cane. I don't want this proud man walking around using a Walmart aluminum job. Does anybody have a source for distinguished walking sticks that won't completely break the bank? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
