I know everyone on here throws out names like AE and other quality shoe brands, but I'm having hard time finding the right "style" of shoes for my taste. Those shoes are great, but even the casual loafers are a bit too formal for me.
-------
My "style"
Work: Dress slacks (black or gray), button down shirt, sometimes a tie
Post work drinking with friends: usually the same + rolled up sleeves + loosen tie
Weekend Night 1: dress slacks + t-shirt, leather jacket from Banana R.
Weekend Night 2: jeans + casual button down, leather jacket from Banana R.
As for the "Work"/"Post Work" style, I can probably get away with a nice pair of AE (or similar) toe cap shoes but for the other styles I think it would come across too formal. Do you all have suggestions on some shoes that could be worn informally but adhere someone to recent fashion so I could get away with wearing them around "less formal" company?
