+1. I bet most prospective students for B-School and Med School interviews do not wear suits. Dress nicely, but a suit isn't always necessary.

Not sure if this is sarcasm, but for med school and similar interviews in that path...effectively every male will wear a suit...women are variable...but conservative dressing is a must.

I'm not being sarcastic at all. I know that for most schools, a suit is neither required nor worn to admissions interviews for professional programs such as Med and B-schools, including top programs.

Hi, I also live in the Albany area. The best place to get a suit around here is Amore clothing on State St, in Albany. Robert is very helpful, although I'm not sure that he would carry 38R otr.

amoreclothing.com

Mark Thomas men's apparel also sells high quality suits. They are on Wolf Rd in Colonie. They have more inventory, so maybe they have something you would like in your size.

Interesting! I can't comment on business schools, but that's the first I've heard that said for med schools (and hasn't been what I've seen) *shrugs*

Suit is not a requirement for a B-School interview but it's rare that i've seen someone show up not wearing one.

Did you end up finding a suit for the interview? If not, see page http://www.styleforum.net/t/79083/recent-purchases/3495
regarding suitsupply www.suitsupply.com I wouldn't mind seeing another one of these suits as worn, as I'd like to start recommending this brand for friends who aren't willing to drop $800+ on a new suit in their color choice (with soft shoulders....sienna model, for example, will likely be my recommendation)

good luck with your interview. regardless.
