yup, justin roper boots - i'm 23 now and have had them since i was a sophomore in high school. have only overhauled the soles once since i've had em.

if you those are a bit to cabellero for you, i'm sure you can find some discounted, more normal looking pieces on places like blue fly, yoox etc

Yes, Jet:

(depending on personal opinion, of course) - I'd offer Doc Martens 8 eyelets for consideration. My last pair was 39GBP (purchased in London many moons ago, I admit) but I still think they can be had for under $100

How about something like this:

I'm not sure exactly what style you're going for, but Carolina Boots makes some good solid work boots that can largely be had for under $100. I have a pair and am happy with them.

You betcha... I got this pair of Thorogood boots. US made, looks very nice, and very comfortable. I wear them with jeans and chinos all the time. This one is model # 814-4960 - 6" non-safety toe hikers. It is nominally $104 at knappstore.com, but if you look around, you should be able to find it under $100 shipped.

Are you looking for a good pair of work boots?

Or a good looking pair of boots?

there is definitely a difference.

I doubt like hell that with the recent return to workwear in most of the lines/stores you'll be able to find redwings on sale in NYC anywhere.
