Neapolitan Winters

Most of what I see and think of as Neapolitan is associated with warmer months and lighter fabrics. Was wondering if any of you guys had some good pictures of Neapolitan Tailoring in more of a winter mind set? I'm having a few tweeds done up this fall with very soft tailoring (no shoulder pads, light chest canvas, SC) and wonder what you guys have in the same vein.

I did a gray flannel DB as does foo, there are pics somewhere. Next suit is a 15 ounce worsted. Portnoy did some seriously heavy tweeds that I have seen, but I don't think he has posted pics.

whilst obviously not neopolitan, michael alden has a fair bit of stuff on the london lounge from his tailor in sicily. i dont think there is such a thing as sicilian-style tailoring, but you'd expect it to at least borrow from neopolitan.

for what its worth, he always seems to be using pretty heavy fabrics.

Foo's tweed jackets?

Alden's stuff is made in Sicily but the styling is very English (I think he micro-manages the process). The exquisite handwork is Italian though.

The tailor says they typically do one for their Italian clients, but I am American in this sense so I am going with 3 working/1 show.

Softer winter fabrics like cashmere and lambswool might be more harmonious with soft "neapolitan" tailoring (vs. harder cheviots and tweeds). Maybe not. I'm just guessing.
