Not sure how real it was. It tasted very real. It was at Lupa, I was in New York today.

Oh you don't say! Lupa's carbonara is pretty fantastic. Very authentic. As good as anything I've had in Rome.

Why only one back pocket? My bias is two or none.
Can tell from this picture they know how to attach the waistband, this is good tailoring

I originally discussed "no pocket" but then did not like the look of it, to me it was missing something. Rarely use back pockets either. I like how those trousers turned up, the beauty of bespoke is that is how I like it ...

Nice pants, but you should really get that wiring fixed.

I have recently commissioned three chinos from P Mola (check the dedicated thread) and this pair of Tuxedo/Dinner trousers in Smith Woollens Black Baratea 8811 (71% Merino & 29% Mohair) 310g (10oz). It side tabs, suspenders buttons, no back pockets, double forward pleats (alla francese they call it in Naples BTW) and silk grosgrain braids:

Back pockets in the Chinos surely? Be very odd with 1 or none.

GBR,

I have come now across many post where I read about your view coming across as know it all, my opinion is the best.

Your opinion is just your opinion, can be respected but it is not the one truth as I perceive (may be wrong) your messages

Well, dinner trousers do not take pockets. RTW one may have them, but if you commission one do it properly.

The chinos are one pocket, the only one I seldom use for a Travelcard in London if not carrying a jacket or briefcase . Here the post http://www.styleforum.net/t/357393/neapolitan-bespoke-chinos#post_6511111
