Loving the OKC lineups tonight. Lamb and Jackson getting plenty of minutes. And Durant being Durant.

Popovich psychology. What did he have to lose?

One game does not a career or a season make.

He's been pretty awesome this season and most of the playoffs.

scotty b ridiculous for playing his stars 41 and 45 minutes. why the heck was ibaka in for 35 minutes???

don't act like this was some crazy fluke for westbrook, and we're talking about them currently.

also, tony parker is a total HOFer but he hasn't had a single season definitively better than the best westbrook season.

    non-westbrook-related:

it honestly would not surprise me if SAS won in 7. who freaking knows who's going to win.

w/ that said, jesus, what happens in OKC wins in 6 again? i mean psychologically, to san antonio. big 3 might have to retire after that. that's essentially how LAL treated SAC 15 yrs ago and SAS themselves treated PHX earlier.

Westbrook played a perfect or nearly perfect team game last night. Watched the whole game and didn't recall once seeing him take a stupid shot, or freeze out his teammates, or do his typical hero ball bullshit. Scotty should have him watch the tape of this entire game before every future game, and tell him, this is what our team is capable of if you don't play like a knucklehead

That was the best game I've ever seen Westbrook play. He was truly impressive.

Jackson looks in trouble. That could sting.

Fuck, I have a totally new respect for Ibaka... that guy makes a much bigger impact than I'd ever imagined.

What can I say? Westbrook played very very well yesterday and overall his performance in this series stands out. Pop has a lot of work to do to prepare his team for the next game, I still believe that SAS has a slight edge because their coach is better and they are deeper and more balanced team. Injuries can continue impact OKCs game. Fifth game will be really interesting.

I honestly think Ibaka hasn't been able to have a massive impact other than knocking down his points very efficiently. He's made some blocks, but he's otherwise been (understandably) slow on defense, aside from getting the odd reactionary block.. I'm not sure whether it's a psychological thing or not, but the Spurs just haven't even bothered testing him and attacking the paint. It's been weird.
