Two good players and I like them too(Leonard went to my cousins High School in Riverside) but I just don't think you can build a team around them. I have a feeling they are going to have a solid wingman type career. They are young and they can certainly develop but I just don't see them being a franchise player.

come on, those guys are very good role players at best. when Duncan retires they are going to try to build a run and gun team around Tony Parker's last prime years, bottom out for awhile until they can rebuild, and go from there

you're right. i was lazy to use the term "build a team around". but i do think they are capable of having solid careers beyond next year, which i'm afraid makes them a rarity on the spurs. (and, yes, they're still on average younger than my lakes ... and the knicks, and the clips, and the hated heat).

Except the Spurs don't bottom out. They've only had 4 bad seasons and missed the playoffs 4 times since their inception in the ABA in 1976. Right after I came home from Nam.

My varsity coach would say Lebron's body stance is textbook for taking a charge haha.

the Bulls need to cut that shit out. they've actually earned my admiration for hanging really tough, which is really tough for me to say as a Heat homer who despises Boozer and Nate Robinson. they are acting like fucking children, especially Noah, who seems to be the embodiment of that "can dish it out but can't take it" guy that everyone knows at least one of

Couple of close calls last night all went to Miami... especially the foul on Noah near the end of the 4th when he fought Bosh for a rebound. That possession could have tied the game and bring back the sliding offense for the Bulls.

Hope Curry is OK. Danny Green killing him though... 2-19 with Green guarding him.
