I can't hate on Mourning, he is a friend.
You guys should consider starting a motorcycle club, "The Miami Heat Dick Riders"
^ Keep it classy edmorel
People thought I looked like Zo back then, coach actually called me Alonzo ( instead of Alberto ) but there really wasn't much resemblance ... lol. Maybe we all really do look the same, for some people..
Those Heat teams were fun, rarely scored more than 90 points hahaha ... rarely even made it to national TV we were so irrelevant. For a while it seemed like Zo was gonna lead them to a championship but M.J. was having none of that ... then that annoying Knicks team with Allan Houston, Starks, LJ, Oakley ... ... Then Zo's kidneys ....
An Ewing. Pretty unlikable team.
You know Zo? He a Panta fan?
I hate the heat with the passion of 1000 suns. Sometimes you've just got to look reality in the eye.
The thing about those teams is that they even hated each other. Reggie Miller summed up those Knicks teams perfectly back then, "they are a bunch of guys with mediocre talent that just finds a way to win games"
We have the same nephrologist and he had his surgery in the same hospital a few days after mine and he was freaking out about some post surgery symptoms so the doctor got us together for me to talk to him and we've stayed in touch since then. He does fundraisers for the hospital and I've been once or twice.
Yeah, it's kind of hard to look at two-time defending East champ, defending NBA champ, 27 game win streak, best player in the league, best record in the league, 11.5 game lead in the East, etc etc and say they aren't the favorite in the East (and really for the title in general). They own the East until somebody beats them, and a game or two during the regular season doesn't change that.
The Heat do not match up well against a healthy Pacers team or the Knicks. Doesn't mean that they can't beat those teams in a series, but the though that it will be a cakewalk, when the have had issues with both teams, is a bit silly.
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say their struggles were only due to Bosh's absence.
Teams just don't have an answer for the versatility of Miami's closing lineup. Wade, James, Bosh, Battier, Miller .. they can play offense/defense with equal efficiency ... they switch, trap, disrupt unlike any other team ... rebounding is their only achilles' heel
Tobias Harris. Who knew?
All Miami need to do is get a benchwarmer to clothesline one of the opposing team's guards.
Just like what Dexter Pittman did to Lance Stephenson last year. Then all this talk of beating up on LeBron will stop.
Spurs taking L's even with 3 starters out
Rubio gets steals but I'm starting to wonder if he can guard anyone.
Wizards are 5th in the east since Wall came back.
Tim Duncan, just wow. Dirk, you can age but you don't lose your stroke. Calling it: Mavs will get the 8th spot.
K Leonard is a star, but will never get accolades in SA.
Jamal Crawford is the best 6th man in the league. Blake Griffin remains overrated.
Steph Curry is the best shooter in the league by a mile.
LA Lackers are wearing jerseys with Los Lakers on them. Are we selling shirts to lahaspanicatinos? Fuck me. Exit thru the gift shop.
Separate names with a comma.
