1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Which team is more painful to watch right now: the Knicks or the Lakers? Before you answer, keep in mind, LA has Nick Young

    Knicks, for sure.

I'm 22 years old, and it's pretty much sucked to be a Knick fan my whole life. Does not look like that's going to change anytime soon.

For those that have not watched Portland... that is one talented, solid team. They are definitely contenders, and they know how to close games. If they have a lead in the 4th they are almost certain to win. I'm very impressed.

i love swaggy. he seems like a great kid who enjoys playing ball and is still learning. i've said it before: i enjoy watching this year's lakes more than last year. and when they finally get at least one of their three injured pgs back, it'll be even more fun (notice, I didn't say they'd necessarily win more).

Interviewer: When did you circle this game on your calendar?
    Bosh: Yesterday

Stephenson: We're going to treat this like a playoff game

    Wade: It's December...

Lol, you are succumbing to rose-colored glasses syndrome because he plays for your team. It's Nick Young we're talking about here. He called himself swaggy p, goes for entire games without throwing a pass, and Kobe's probably going to kill him before the ASB.

I get it - we always wish the best. But see what happened to the Knicks fans on this thread for allowing themselves to love JR Smith. I even have my moments of weakness about Beasley

Swaggy P isn't so bad. He is one dimensional and is only there to score but that is exactly why he is a 6th man and not starting. He is there to fill the void of scoring bench and he is part of the 2nd or 3rd best scoring bench in the league right now?

Dude was cool and I never really hated him at all, he also went to my high schools rival (Farmars also a High School rival) and still have no animosity for him. Dude is a cool cat and no way is he even close to being a "JR Smith" player.

And you can't even really compare the Knicks and Lakers, Lakers are actually wining and has been winning championships. Knicks has been absent of the post-season for a good decade plus.

believe me, i've been through my share of them with the lakers, too. but swaggy isn't that guy. or sure doesn't seem to be. he's got a great sense of humor about himself, for one. he's a notoriously bad defender (like what laker pg hasn't been?), and when he stepped in and took a charge that effectively won a game, he told everyone afterward he was going to be defensive player of the year. compare that to howard.

Nick Young is a seven year vet. we pretty much know what he is at this point, and his basketball decisions are worse than most rookies. that's what I meant by the crack that Kobe will kill him. Lakers fans will love him when he gets hot, but when he's not he'll screw up the offense, shoot you out of the game, and you'll have less tolerance for his always shitty defense.

I don't have any hate for him either - things would have been different if he grew up elsewhere than with the Wizards - just calling it like I see it.

You're over analyzing it too much. At the end of the day, Kobes missed shot when he is shooting 5 for 25 is still going to be more annoying than anything Nick Young does. Kobe's not going to get much into him because everyone in the team will pretty much be scared to shoot when Kobes on the floor anyways.

You also got to watch more Laker games before you can judge him. No one is expecting anything from but scoring off the bench and that is it.
