Not a Lakers fan, but even less of a fan of Hack-a-Dwight type basketball.

How about, in addition to a team bonus, there could be a personal bonus. If any player personally draws beyond x personal fouls, that player would get to take best 2 of 3 free throw shots. (i.e. if they hit the first two free throws, they turn the ball over, but if they miss either of the first two, they get a third shot).

A spur is a wheel worn on the bottom of a cowboy boot to accelerate one's horse toward a dumb bovine animal (hereby referenced as JET) up the dusty trail.

    Yippee tie-yi yo...

Git along little Lakers. It's your misfortune and not-a my owwn.

Are you kidding? Slow down play even more?

How about just award the points.

i think professional basketball players should just make their fucking free throws. would you hire someone at Victoria' Secret if she didn't know how to operate a cash register? well, maybe, if she was really, really fucking good at folding thongs...but it's still god dam annoying when the store gets busy and she can't do that one fucking thing when you really need her to.

btw Kobe's got 30k points now for his career. he might not catch Kareem, but dude is NOT going to retire until he passes MJ. he's already fifth all time and past Shaq (tell me how my ass taste)

Not quite as well as your crowd in W Hollywood.

I thought LA had outlawed puerile homophobia.

In light of Kobe's milestone I'll open up a can of worms-
Look up the stats and convince me why Kareem isn't the greatest Laker (and possibly the greater PLAYER) of all time.
The fact that he's being added as a footnote to this conversation is blowing my mind.

Kareem is just a guy that goes about his business. I don't believe he really cares about that kind of notoriety.
