1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Does anyone seriously think Lebron is going to go to the Lakers and help Kobe win more rings?

the sense of entitlement that the media places on the Lakers is ridiculous. to be clear, I don't think people like the Buss family or Mitch Kupchak think that way, but the media seem to think that if the Lakers wish a player to come play for them, then it will happen.

Pretty sure Paul will go the LA once his contract in Indiana is done.
Doubt lebron is gonna take his talents to LA and is meLo to LA even that good of an idea for the team? 2 ball hoggers

why is everyone tanking for Andrew Wiggins anyway? I realize the danger of evaluating a player based on YouTube clips, but all the kid seems to be good at is dunking over high school players.

reserving judgment on his "second coming" status until we see him play a year of NCAA ball

Well Kobe proved that he can share the ball if needed, he did try his best to get Dwight involved, D'Antonis system and injuries (Nash rarely played) just got in the way. Keep in mind that D'Antoni didn't have a training camp either and still finished the season 28-12. Then Kobes achilles, it all just fell apart and Dwight finally being the main offensive player couldn't do it.

Overall, Melo or Lebron going to the Lakers is something I'd believe when I see it.

If the Lakers want to perennially exit the playoffs in the first or second round, they should go after Melo.
