This guy can help with 3s off the bench.
i would love for this to happen at my job
i like kobe but arguing that he's better than jordan is insanity.
Only an imbecile would argue that.
I guess the Lakers gets a back-up PG in Duhon? I'd take Blake over him but I guess another body to throw to other PGs isn't bad?
I like Iggy's athleticism, but he has giant holes in his game. Nonetheless, you are right that Denver improved their team's outlook (I posted earlier without considering the contracts that Denver shed).
I like Duhon better than Blake. Duhon isn't the shooter that Blake is, but his all-around game, including defense, passing, and athleticism, are better. So I think Duhon is an excellent pick-up for the Lakers.
2012: 37% FG, 33% 3pt.
2011: 36% FG, 38% 3pt.
keep waiting for him to regain his stroke ... and waiting ... and waiting.
what holes does iggy have? i genuinely think he's a fantastic player and think the nuggets made a pretty good deal. afflalo sucked for most of 11-12 and harrington is great but not really
I think Iggy can be inconsistent. He is a possible triple-double every night but he is more of a baby-baby Lebron these days and his scoring has gone way down considering the Sixers didn't really add much scoring in the past couple of season to take shot attempts away from him. He'll likely excel in Denver but I am not sure by how much. Denver also still have Chandler and Gallo so they might be battling for position. Line-up isn't looking bad for them though.
not bad is an understatement. looking forward to next season
i call lakers vs okc in the west miami vs nets in the east. which is like a duh captain obvious type call
I'm not sold on the Nets yet, I'd still take Boston and Chicago over them (and I hate Boston).
As for the West, I like the Clippers over Denver right now, not just because I am a Clippers fan but I just think they have built a solid team this off-season.
I almost feel bad for the Clips team with the Lakers likely overshadowing them and might cause CP3 to leave. I really with Del Negro was replaced though.
I agree about the west, although wouldn't be surprised if OKC does not make the finals as they have not gotten any better in the offseason. Agree about Miami but the Nets, if anyone can take five solid players and make them look like a college team, it is the Nets. The franchise has a knack for being disfunctional, both in the front office and on the court. Things seem to have changed going into next season but I stil need to see them perform for at least half a season before I declare them anything more than, well, the Nets.
OKC doesn't really need to get that much better to win a chip, they just need to stay healthy really. The line-up is so young and athletic and they just keep improving. The core of the team was in the Olympics too (Durant, Westbrook, Harden & Ibaka) so that is extra experience and motivation for them going forward. They have improved every year and takes a step forward as they go on so I think they will be fine w/o much roster improvement.
Lakers vs. Heat in the finals. Lakers in 6.
i guess. i dont think celts will go that far, but chicago could be legit depending on how rose is when he gets back. i still dont understand how the bulls blew up when they were doing so well without him but i only watched 1 game
the nets i guess are unproven and their bench really sucks. will be interesting for sure tho.
