Except I don't think Lebron was really butt hurt about not shaking their hands after he won like everyone else was butt hurt when he didn't shake theirs a couple of years ago.

He disappeared in the Spurs series.

I'd put Parker in the top 5 PGs, but def not a superstar. Inconsistent in the OKC series. If he can't get in the paint, it detracts significantly from his game.

^thanks for this. smith and bayless got debased and exposed for fools. its too bad they still waste time and space on espn.

the best part is how smith starts complaining for not having enough access as the reason for shitty reporting and insinuating not having enough time to analyze game tape to ask relevant questions pertaining the game.... hahha fucking cry me a river motherfucker -

espn does have a billion dollars and thousands of analysts - truehoop and hollinger do actually research into the advanced statistics and components to why a team won/lost - smith could've easily applied analysts from in house espn reporters/stat guys/analysts to ask relevant questions during interviews - but all he does is just yell loudly about generalities and patently obvious.

    +1

Mark Cuban knows his shit. I have to agree with his point about the generalities.

Honestly, what are they supposed to say? "90% of our viewers are idiots who can't really think about basketball at the level of complexity with which it is played and prefer smug morality tales that cast themselves as a hanging judge? And, yeah, the only reason were here is we know how to give them what they want?"

no, but they dont have to be asshoes all the time.

it was refreshing to see someone as smart and quick as cuban pwn these fuckers. i hate those guys, but they are bright and quick witted, which often gives them the appearance of "winning" an argument, despite being ass backwards in their opinions. they couldnt pull that shit with cuban. that was what i enjoyed.

So I've been in mourning and unable to post since Thursday night (actually, I've been out of town and away from my computer).

Congratualtions to the Heat for showing their superior experience and winning the series. Not only did LeBron and Chris Bosh step up, but so did their "role players" such as Battier and Chalmers and Wade had a solid overall series. Hopefully the ridiculous criticisms of LeBron will stop (maybe most of you are too young to remember that people said the same things about Jordan until he won his first championship).

The Heat certainly deserved to win the series, though I wouldn't trade the OKC roster for the Heat's roster, since OKC is so deep and so young. If the Thunder can keep the team together, they have a lot of winning seasons in their future. I agree, though, that Westbrook is the most maddening player in the NBA. Quit hoisitng up long-range jumpers when you're hitting 20% and have the NBA's leading scorer on your team!!!

Don't open that can of worms again. First of all Jordan didn't abandon his team and joined another mans team. He stuck around and won 6, how many will Lebron win? Who knows? It took Jordan 7 years to win a chip and Lebron took 9 years and a short season (takes nothing away from them but if the Spurs gets an asterisk for it, the Heat should too). Jordan only had Pippen, Lebron had Wade & Bosh. Etc... Etc... Etc....

i think it's partly because heats kept sagging back to give him room for easy shots. only westbrook kept missing them. but his overall fgp wasn't that bad., like 45% or something.

By max contract = Superstars I meant deserving max contract not those who simply got one, I mean Joe Johnson, Rashard Lewis, Arenas, etc... comes to mind. I used Bosh as an example, he isn't a Superstar but if I were Toronto and he is the best I could get, then yeah I'd offer him a max contract even if I do not believe he deserves it.
