have I posted this before? sorry, but repost worthy..
Nah, LBJs a beast and is a phenomenon for his size and strength. Even his coach and Wade called him out of being less aggressive at times. I doubt it's him being tired. Yous aid it yourself, dude must have crazy endurance and great conditioning. He had the same rest on game 3 as he does for game 4. Maybe Wade promised to give Lebron something special after the game if he focused and played well the whole 48min, I mean look at that look he gave him after todays game (pic is from today, no lie).
Nah for sure he does check out from time to time. I don't think the end of Game 3 this year was one of those.
duncan wants that ring.
Nicholson is a fan of the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Lakers. His attendance at Lakers games is legendary, as he is a season ticket holder since 1970 and has held courtside season tickets for the past 25 years at both The Forum and the Staples Center, missing very few games. In a few instances, Nicholson has engaged in arguments with game officials and opposing players, and has even walked onto the court. His ardent refusal to miss a Lakers home game means that studios are rumored to have to schedule filming around the Lakers home schedule although he disputed this claim in an interview with BBC radio in 2008.
Now THERE is a Laker fan.
I know the rest of the team wants it for him, esp. Parker. Next 2 series will be tough, however.
the white girl and the black girl they keep shooting are hot
honestly tho kyrie's been on some nba 2kxx shit all season
van gundy and smith got fired
Player wins again.
$20 that OKC closes the series tonight ?
actually, the lakers have played closer than i expected them too. mainly because of artest. i've argued all season that the real problem with LA is that they don't have any reliable jump shooters. That's desperately needed with two big guys, and especially now with Kobe aging. as his jumper has gotten less reliable, he's been more and more working in the mid post. great idea, but ... there are already two 7-footers in there. it gets kinda crowded. even a team like OKC, without a dominant big man (perkins is a brick; ibaka is terrific, but better as weak-side help) they're able to force the lakers because they sag 5 guys into the paint. when you can do that and nullify the three biggest threats (and leaving ramon sessions -- at his best driving -- and artest to score), you're halfway to winning. the games the lakes have played well have been the games were ron-ron and blake were hitting jumpers, which forced okc out of the paint. but, yeah. lakes are done tonight. i do think okc and the spurs will be a good matchup. and next year, i think they'll follow magic's advice last season and blow the team up.
this is where David Stern really killed the Lakers' future with the trade veto. having essentially this current team minus Gasol plus Chris Paul would have really set them up for the next 3-7 years. CP3 would have prolonged Kobe's career by getting him the ball and making it easy for him to score, replacing Gasol with a cheap hard nosed rebounder/defender type would free up both Bynum's low post and Kobe's mid post game, and having two insanely competitive stars would force Bynum to grow the fuck up (or maybe be killed on the practice floor by those two and free up the cap space to sign Howard )
wait magic advised the lakers to blow to the team up?
