one more random NBA related thought from me tonight:

i find it hilarious that Buick is using Shaq as an endorser ("size authority") to show how big their cars are inside. way to embrace the fact that your market is fat American fucks who need a cherry picker to get hoisted into the front seat

    +1

Ridiculous. Spurs swept series w OKC, and Lakers folded them up like a cheap tent last Sunday.

Yeah- they didn't actually show him getting into the car. :)

they had to wheel the cherry picker out of the shot before resuming filming :D

when Jordan retired, don't you think every halfway decent semipro golfer made a beeline for his favorite courses? a little shit talking, fan up that pathologically competitive instinct, and in no time you're taking him for a million bucks a hole...

I think I'd be pretty hard to take Jordan for a million a hole, even if you were a better golfer on most days.

The Bobcats website is pretty sad.

One of the first things you see is "Chairman's Corner". Its a section where MJ answers fans questions. It hasn't been updated since January.

I'm hoping Bulls lose one before the end of the season. Then Spurs will have home court throughout. Will be interesting how hard Pop tries to win these last 2.

    Indiana tonight. Got a shot.

more random NBA thoughts from me tonight:

dear god is Blake Griffin a terrible post player. he's no Andrew Bynum  i know that it's very early in his career and he has plenty of time to hire Kevin Mchale or someone like that to coach him, but he appears to have the offensive coordination of a young Dwight Howard

Durant leads Kobe by 0.1 pts for the scoring title, and is going end up with well over 30 tonight. Kobe plays a meaningless season finale tomorrow - what do you think he'll score? 40? 50? i guarantee it'll be whatever it takes to take the scoring title

i was in Argentina the other week and was impressed at how popular basketball is down there. football is still king, of course, but those people know their basketball. most i talked to are Spurs fans, for obvious reasons
