Not bad. But pretty sure Orlando wants some young talent back or, at the very least, some draft picks.

And I think at this point, Amare is not valuable in a trade, thanks to his uninsured contract that no one other than the Knicks would agree to.

kobe and dirk are the only active players with a no trade clause. KG used to have one but he accepted the trade to the celtics then signed a new deal after that which no long has one. the nba does not have a 10/5 rule like baseball (or anything similar).

supposedly kris humphries has one too...

oh, goodie...we get THINNER at our thinnest position and get a piece of the puzzle that probably won't fit.

Meh... it sounds like an overall increase in talent and so in that sense is a decent trade. It's not like Steve Bake is the future in LA. I hope that the Lakers are still looking at Sessions or Calderone though. . . and why not go hard for Felton?

PDX is in fire sale mode, go hard for Felton and or Crash.

i think blake has been playing well, though he's certainly not the future. personally, i'm not getting too wound up in the trade rumors at this point. every day there's a new authoritative report quoting unnamed insiders that probably came up over a couple beers at lunch (former sportswriter here ... i know a bit about this). one guy reports it, then everybody else quotes other people saying it won't happen. and everyone gets their blog quota filled. win-win.

Yeah it is getting pretty pathetic. There is a new Laker rumor everyday. I am glad it will be over soon.

The sooner Felton and Crawford get out of Portland the better.

So now Dwight's staying. Great. Can the Knicks trade for someone else then?!

The hot morning rumor is Pau to the Nets for Deron. Since, without Dwight, Deron's bound to leave anyway. Might as well get something for him. Then the Nets can flip Pau for some other pieces/pics/cap space.
