reports coming in that Rubio may have a possible torn ACL. He was positive for the simple "drawer test" on physical exam (where if the knee slides forward or backward) you can pre assess if its the ACL or PCL strain/tear.

hopefully there's no cruciate damage and its a torn meniscus or better a MCL. but even slight ACL tears these days with sports stars are treated with ACL reconstruction.

Shit, as bad as that is for Sota, they weren't going anywhere this season anyway.

For Spain, however, this is fucking catastrophic. As a bball fan, I'm upset because I wanted to see a full strength Spanish squad run against the US

Minny is half a game away from a playoff spot behind Houston and with Lowry being hospitalized, there's a good chance they could have made it. They're also just 1.5 game behind Dallas for 7th and 2 games behind Denver for 6th place.

Being a playoff would be a big deal for Minny. They barely get any national TV time and that could earn them plenty of exposure and gain more fans and revenue.

or they could be like those lucky bulls, spurs or orlando teams that got a top pick in the draft with the one lottery ball with an already stacked team and become insta-finals contenders next year - if they miss the playoffs barely

Steph Curry rolls his ankle again stepping on somebody's foot. With trade deadline coming up, I think his value just dropped. My guess is he won't be traded and will just shut it down the rest of the season.

Can someone explain to me how the piece of shits in the NBA (like Ron Artest -- err, Mette Dipshit) are still allowed to play?

Why what happened? Didnt see the game.

BTW, I cringe every time I hear that name. The announcers must really hate him.

Nothing happened. Typical Lakers-Celtics game, with a bit of typical chippiness. Metta played well.

I assume the reference is to that little dust-up between Metta, Pierce, and KG under the Celtics basket near the end. No big deal, and if anything KG and Pierce were the instigators. Hardly a "dipshit" play by Metta. Just tough basketball at the end of a close game. Rondo wearing wrap-around shades in the pre-game? Kind of dipshitty.
Yeah, Bynum was overjoyed, nice to see that.
