Wall and Rubio has higher ceiling? Again, it's hard to start a franchise with PGs so why would you take them over Love first outside of the best PGs in the game like Rose and CP3? You'd seriously pick Wall over him? Rubio, ok a bit understandable since he might be the next Nash but he still hasn't shot consistently well. Ceiling is high but I don't know how you can say it is higher than Loves? Yah love is just a beast right now and it seems like he can't do better but again, 25/14 that can shoot 3's and athletic enough and he is 23 fucking years old.

You say Love ceiling is low but pick Amare over him? Are you kidding me? If Amare never found Nash he'd be no where today. He can't lead a team to anywhere by himself.

Aldridge is good but Love > Aldridge. Just look at the stats, put Love in the Blazers and they'd have a better record. Not many big men can shoot the 3 at 40% rate and give you 25/15 on a nightly basis with mid 80% ft. Dude is active too and actually hustles.

And the only reason to pick Griffin is to sell out seats. I'm a fan but seeing him play on almost a nightly basis shows you all his flaws. He tries to flop way too much and for his jumping abilities and athleticism, barely blocks any shots and with barely a glimmer of a mid-range shot.

And like I said, Pau and Dirk is too old now. In their 4th and 5th year, they'd be on their way out while Love is going to be barely hitting his prime.

I seriously would not sign Bynum to a 5yr max based on his injury history alone. He isn't as unstoppable as Dwight is.

And if I owned a record label, I'd want to sign them. Basketball is a business, and unless a player is going to push you over the top, you're probably better off signing the one who'll make you more money.

you'd take amare over kevin love??????????? have you seen him play this season?

in all honesty i'd take only 5 players before love and that would be lebron, kevin durant, kobe bryant, chris paul, and derrick rose. i wouldnt build a team around kobe as i agree with rfx. he only has a few more years before he's done.

love is far more versatile than aldridge. i just want to +1 everything rfx said.

also you think kevin love's stats are inflated by his team, but not dwight howard?

i'm so blind in my hate for dwyane. drafted my team around him and he hasn't done much this season

I've seen a motivated Amare do a Shiva the Destroyer act in the playoffs. Love doesn't have the body of work but, yeah, Amare is playing like shit this season.

Why do people keep talking about Ellis as though he has a major attitude problem or is a headcase? It's one of those labels that just seems to have stuck for no good reason. His major discretion was lying about a moped accident, which while you certainly don't like to see is hardly egregious. He had some small fueds with Don Nelson, but thwy never really blew up into anything and Don is notorious for getting into it with young players. And Don was pretty much mailing it in at that time, drinking brandy all day and thinking about Maui.

Ellis is a good teammate, you never hear about him doing stupid shit in the local papers, does not get into a lot of fights or get a lot of T's nor have any of his coaches had anything bad to say about him long term. Even he and Nelly worked it out and played together and Nelly is a fan.

Truthfully I think he is one of the most underrated players in the league. If he was willing to or was forced to make the switch back to the point he would be a force there. His passing is far better than he gets credit for and was getting close to 10 a game while Steph Curry was out. Even his D is not as bad as people think. This is his first year under a coach that actually has his players play D. Nelly was all about running and pushing. He gets a lot of steals and plays hard. The main problem is that he plays the 2 when he should be a point guard. Match him up against other guys his size and I think he'd be well above average.

Ellis is definitely under-rated. He is one of those players that is an All-Star but probably won't make it because he is on a crappy team. Dude is a scoring machine.
Plus dude can do this with consistency, he could sit in the bench and score.

Oh god let's please not talk about where Lebron might end up in a couple years. I'd rather you guys talk about the Lakers some more.

I think Ellis has been the 2nd most efficient post player this season. Saw this stat. "This year Ellis is posting up 9.4 percent of the time and leading the league with a 1.31 PPP." 1.31 is actually #2.

Warriors have still been pretty awful (surprise, surprise). I need a second team to root for. One playoff appearance in 20 years? I have tix for tomorrow's OKC game, my first NBA game ever, and I'm not excited at all. Ellis can score but is often inefficient, Curry turns it over carelessly. D Wright has forgotten that he is an NBA starter. Lee is a turnstile on D. We don't have a starting center. How sad is it when a team misses Kwame Brown's presence... Beans gets pulled for early fouls, like he's being saved to play in the 4th quarter, and then never plays. Why pull him when he picks up a quick 2 if he isn't even going to come back out? Just let him play until he collects his 6.

I was in school at CWRU when LBJ was there.... altho' I personally loathe Cleveland, he took the city's hopes to the heavens then shit explosive diarrhea all over them... fuck LeBron, fuck his game, fuck his Mom (Delonte), fuck his zero championships and hoping it stays that way.

J/W but even if he wins 1, will it mean anything? lol

The only way LBJ can redeem himself is match those of Kobe/MJ, which I doubt will ever happen.
