    Lakers 3-2. Spurs 2-1.

Seems like a push to me.

Kobe was crap last night. He just wouldn't stop shooting. 6 for 28.:brick:

Miami beat the Bobcats by 39 and the Bulls beat Memphis by 40.

Playing against a Warrior team without Da Lee.

I'm having a hard time getting excited about this NBA season. Lock out left a bad taste in my mouth and the compressed season is going to lead to a lot of ugly, tired basketball.

these home and home games are super weird...

they should've set it up like regular season baseball series just play out the conference matchups in 3-4 game sets - that way you can match up tactically (like rest an a starter per night and still remain competitive). so if the lakers play the warriors 3 straight times then you can rest kobe in game 2 and just have the rest of the team rise up (with kobe's dagger eyes staring at them from the bench while in civilian clothes) to the occasion because the know kobe is resting this game and will be back in game 3.

Gotta love the Hawks. Every once in a while they like to prove to their fans that they are talented enough to contend w/ the best teams in the East, if they gave even half an f. I get where they are coming from. If they worked hard and thought about how to win basketball games all the time, they could probably win two play-off series every other year or so, get to the eastern conference finals and have at best a 20% of advancing to the championship series which they would probably lose. On the other hand, if they cash paychecks and have fun, they can reliably win one series most years and bow out gracefully in the semis. Much easier life and pretty much the same $.
