Lebron had this to say after the game: "At the end of the day, all of the people that were rooting for me to fail, tomorrow they'll have to wake up and have the same life that [they had] before they woke up today. They got the same personal problems they had today and I'm going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things I want to do." INB4SHITSTORM

Lebron certainly could develop a decent post game if his prima donna ass were willing to put in the work. Say what you will about Kobe, he has always worked incredibly hard to get better. When he decided he'd be a better player with a good post-up game? He reached out and asked one of the all-time great post players, Hakeem Olajuwon, to work with him. Lebron should take a lesson from him -- he certainly has the athleticism and skill do be excellent at pretty much any aspect of the game he wishes, if he has the desire.

Tomorrow I'll still wake up with the same number of rings as LeBron.

    Congratulation to the Mavs!

Such strong hate for Lebron et al though damn. something i do not understand regardless of all the controversial things that come out of his mouth. can we as fans really hate a player so intensely? (i am biased so eh)

bottom line: lebron and fans hyped the player so much and in the end he failed to deliver. so ... hate away.

Reading about Lebron's performance, would he have been a different player if he had gone to college instead of jumping into the NBA straight from high school? Would Lebron be a better player if he had face college level competition and practice, improved coaching from high school?

No, the problem isn't that he's not talented or developed enough. The most glaring physical weakness is his lack of a solid post-up game, but that in itself isn't why he fared so poorly in the series. He just had his confidence shaken up for whatever reasons (can't take the pressure, Mav's coaching, Mav's D itself, etc, all of the above...).

What Lebron lacks is confidence. His mental stability is shaken up too easily because he lived a pampered life since his St. Mary days. Getting endorsement money in high school? "Chosen 1"? These things will definitely inflate someone's fragile ego. This kid has absolutely no heart and killer instinct. And now his public image has diminished into nothing. Congrats Lebron, you are now the biggest bag of douche and everybody knows it. Nobody likes you and everybody hates you.

We are going to wake up to our jobs and problems, yet you have to wake up to: Delonte West fucked your mom, you lost your only chance to win "not 3, not 4. not 5. not 6" rings, Rashard Lewis was doing the alphabet with his tongue on your girlfriend's pum pum. Yea you're going to be smiling every time you wake up.

The Mavs are better, but is anybody here going to deny that LeBron choked so hard he'll have a future in gonzo porn?

LeBron played like he usually does. So no choke.

Anyone upset there may not be any NBA games for a long ass time.

It is sad, hopefully they will be able to avoid the lockout. I felt the NBA's momentum really gaining and with the NFL lockout they could've possibly gained some fans especially if they could avoid a lockout. Anyone else wish that Stu Scott would've left the teams alone and just let them celebrate. How does it feel to win a championship?!?!?
