Anyone watch the post game interview with Lebron/Dwayne?

Some cat asked Lebron why he seems to be shirking responsibilities at the end of games. Lebron basically told him to watch some the film and come back tomorrow with a better question.

It seems to me that the Heat get better results when Lebron is more of a facilitator than scorer, not sure what peeps want out of him. Its still amazing to me that both those guys have been able to curb their ego for the team.

I hope the Heat choke an a turd tonight. A big, nasty, turd that they all share back at the hotel.

Wondering why amidst all the celebs/players/former players you see at the finals, MJ is never present. Its like he wants nothing to do with the basketball world any longer.

He the majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats.

also the refereeing was in the total shithole today.
Yeah, lots of really stupid loose ball fouls. Let them play you bastards, and then maybe try blowing the whistle when someone gets hacked going for a shot instead.

They always double the crap out of LeBron, so he is forced to facilitate or force up contested, terrible shots (which he does anyway a lot). Obviously the former scenario is more likely to result in something good for the Heat.

Jason Terry has to play better. Dirk was great last night, but he can't beat Miami by himself. He scored more points (34) than the other starters combined (27) and more than the bench players combined (25). That can't happen.

Dirk has certainly done enough to shed the "choker" mantle in these playoffs. He has been murderous in the 4th, both against the Thunder and so far against the Heat. Throwing the ball out of bounds because his teammate made an unexpected cut, and missing a tough shot at the buzzer shouldn't change that at all. Everybody misses shots, especially against great D.

I still want the Heat to win, but come on, it's senseless to disrespect Dirk. The dude has been a total freak these playoffs.

^Yeah, I agree with smarty two shoes.

The guy has been a fucking assassin all year...Miami is just a better all around team. Not that Dallas is anywhere near the level of shit that the Cavs were, but this Dallas team reminds me of the LBJ led Cavs in that, without LBJ/DIRK both teams didn't/wouldn't even make the playoffs.

Anyone who says Dirk is a choker watches one or two games a year. Everyone says you choke when you don't win, but any playoff game the Mavericks lose because Dirk misses a shot that everyone in the arena knew he was going to take is a playoff game that the Mavericks would not be in if anyone else were in his place. Simple as that. I've been defending the guy for years. Just the other day, believe it or not, someone who literally didn't even know what a guard was tried to tell me that the Mavs would be better if they had kept Steve Nash instead of Dirk. [IMG]

This is all coulda shoulda woulda nonsense, but I can't help but wonder what these games would be like if Caron Butler and Roddy Bobois (sp?) were playing. Still, I think there are some surprises left in this series.

Terry did OK and can get his own shots, but Kidd needs to get a few lobs to Tyson Chandler and get Stevenson involved. It was only a 2-point loss, so if anyone else can step up in the next game...

...the problem is that the Mavs don't have anyone who can step up consistently, which is why I predicted Miami in 7. I hope to be proven wrong, but without Butler and Beaubois the Mavs don't have the horses. Basketball is a team game, though, and good teams need to be able to overcome injuries like these.

^it doesnt help the mavs that the heats defense is super on point. haslem did an excellent job. good decision on both teams (mavs- letting dirk play iso, heats - putting haslem on dirk and blocking off all other shot opportunities). unfortunate for mavs that dirk missed, but if i were coach i'd do the same thing 10 times out of 10

[IMG] at Steve still calling Dirk a choker. Come on now, this whole playoffs alone has him singlehandedly beating his opponents in the 4th.

+1. The Mavs got what they wanted; the Heat got the matchup they wanted; the Heat executed better (i.e. Dirk just missed the shot).

    Oh, and GO MAVS!
