1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

David West going to Pacers, not Celtics. 2yr / $20 million.

Celts sign Jeff Green, so I guess they are standing pat.

Magic want Bynum & Gasol for Howard. Lakers should jump on that and sign Deron in summer.

With what cap space? They're going to have to absorb Turkoglu's contract in order to get Dwight. And they won't be able to sign-and-trade for Deron because they have no assets to trade if both Bynum and Gasol are shipped.

So basically, if they trade for any superstar player, they become a two-man team (albeit a very good two-man team) with a bunch of mediocre role players and no cap flexibilty until 2015.

Why have to take back Hedo? I thought Magic amnestied Arenas. Shouldn't they be able to take both Gasol and Bynum's contracts?

Just out of curiosity, is it legal to trade for Turkoglu's contract and then amnesty him?

i read the odom trade as another instance of jimmy buss' "dont f*ck with me" attitude. Same as him trading ariza. he seems still to be at that stage where he needs to assert his alpha-as-f*ckness. anybody embarrasses him and they get traded for ... a draft pick?

2 years? Is that the longest he can get? If I were him, with his injury history, I'd try and get less annual salary but for a longer term.

Nah, their getting their pick, 2012 draft seems to be loaded with good talent so that should be enough.
Fuck that if they want Gordon, Aminu, Bledsoe, Kaman plus the pick for CP3? A whole goddamn team?
    These league officials are insane.

Yup, its true. Even with a loaded offer I think the league will shut down the offer. I really don't see how any team can pry CP3 from NO's (Stern's) hands.

Wasn't CP supposed to pursue litigation today? I mean with Odom traded to Dallas, that means the original LAL-NO trade can't be completed...
