1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I can't tell you guys how many times over the years we've seen this from Dirk here in Dallas. Some games he comes out cold, but he always finds a way to influence the game in the 4th. Sometimes he goes to the rim, gets fouled and makes his points on FT. Sometimes he finds the shooting rhythm. Sometimes he takes the ball inside and makes it around the rim.

Nothing tonight until the 4th and he has 8 points in the 4th so far.

This is what the Heat gets for not deploying secret weapon Juwan Howard.

    CONGRATULATIONS TO THE MAVS.

Great, great series. The better team won, and with great style, professionalism, class. Hats off.

Surreal atmosphere down there. Looks like Dallas just won game 1 on the road, not the championship.

Yeah. Dirk was out before the last horn. I've never seen a weirder celebration.

Either way...thank god the Heat lose.

    Congrats, Dirk.

Characteristically, Lebron is once again in too big a hurry to go cry in private to stick congratulate the winners. What a bush-league pussy. At least Wade has the class to congratulate the folks who beat him.

I'm so happy for Cuban. What a fantastic owner of a sports team.

I'm pretty sure that Dirk was in tears going down the tunnel. Don't think he wanted to be on the floor that way. Dirk has been so hyperfocused on winning a championship this year, this has to be pretty overwhelming.

By far the sweetest moment I have ever experienced watching sports. I will admit I got a little misty.
