I'm a Laker for life but I have to say this:
THE DALLAS MAVERICKS ARE A BUNCH OF PROFESSIONALS, ALL OF THEM.

I really hope they win this series. They deserve it.

With the exception of game 4 in Portland the Mavs have owned Winning Time in the playoffs. When time comes to win no one has been more clutch.

Hard to say. If Wade tightens up, more mental pressure on LeBust who caves again, Mavs in 6. But I think it probably goes 7. How's that for a prediction? I would LOVE Dallas in 6.

I just wish they weren't so damned dramatic about it. I'd like to see them blow one out in game 6 and get this over with.

Nah, fuck blowout games. I want good games like it has been the past 3 games. I want close, neck-to-neck 48-minute games.

Yeah, they are being a bit Kardiac Kids about it, but that's what makes it a great series. I don't want a blow-out in Game 6: I want a Miami 2-point lead with 10 seconds to go, Miami ball, Wade dishes to Bron, Bron drives doing that hippy-hoppy thing he does, Bron thinking "Bron gon' win this thing, bitches", Chandler rises, stuffs the crap out of him, grabs the ball, outlet to Kidd, Kidd up to Terry, Terry spots up at the 3, Bosh closes and goes airborne, faked out of his jock, Dirk cuts around Haslem, Terry dish, Dirk dunk, game and series over. THAT would be awesome, with MIA going "WTF"??? We had this game!!! Whaaaa!!!".

Nice scenario, but it would require a rule change that would permit buzzer beating dunks to overcome two point deficits. Other than that I like the way you think.

This series is over. Congrats to the Mavs.

They've had an answer for everything the heat had to offer. The heat, on the other hand, have blown leads at the worst time every game. Why would it be any different back in Miami?

They do have to win 4...This is the only game Dallas really deserved to win. Like Game 1 was the only one Miami deserved to win. Luck of the draw Miami loses 2 of the other 3. Statistics will at least right to 2-2, game 7 who knows.

serious question though, who thinks this will go to game 7?

    Me. Miami in 7.

DAMMIT! Yu guiz reed to gud!!! I was listening to post-game! OK, all that and Dirk gets fouled isn't nearly as good, so let's get all 5 guys involved: Chandler>Kidd>Terry>Matrix>Dirk: Miami 2-point lead with 10 seconds to go, Miami ball, Wade dishes to Bron, Bron drives doing that hippy-hoppy thing he does, Bron thinking "Bron really gon' win this thing, bitches, I told you!!!", Chandler rises, Chandler stuffs the crap out of Bron, Bron whines for the foul, Chandler grabs the ball with one hand, outlet to Kidd, Kidd up to Jet, Jet spots up at the 3, Bosh closes and goes airborne, Bosh faked out of his jock, Dirk cuts around Haslem, Jet looks for Dirk, no Dirk, Miller stepped in, Jet dishes to Matrix cutting, Matrix doesn't have the dunk, Haslem moved over, Matrix stops on dime, Matrix around-the-back pinpoint pass to Dirk at the 3, Wade/Bron/Miller are closing fast, Haslem chasing, Bosh is still scowling, looking around for his jock, Dirk cradles, Dirk sets, Dirk rises > 0.4, 0.3, 0.2, 0.1...BANG!!! Better? [IMG]

    because it's in miami

also i dunno wtf you're talking about. smh at an answer for everything. please. how many times has this double team wade or lebron when they post strategy worked? they lost point after point esp in the 4th quarter due to (eg) dirk leaving his guy to double team james or wade posting up only to have them past to the guy who was left.

mavs got hot with their shots today. like ridiculous 3 point percentage. even dirk who hasnt been playing that well this finals series got .5 fgp

West coast teams have a circadian advantage playing on the road in an Eastern conference town. Better reaction times!

Anyways, I hope the Mavs win. Dirk needs a ring, LeBron hasn't quite earned his yet.
