Al Jefferson has gone vegetarian. That worked out well for Bill Walton.
Don't forget Colin Kaepernick and Prince Fielder.
Did people blame Fielder's neck problems on his vegetarianism? (Which according to Wikipedia lasted all of three months.)
As you probably got, I was referencing the fact that there were a number of people who claimed that Walton's perceived fragility was caused or exacerbated by his vegetarianism. (For what it's worth, to me as a casual fan with no particular knowledge of sports medicine or nutrition science, that seems like a pretty lame theory to explain his injury history.)
