    Go Spurs Go..... home

If they lose Weds here, they'll already be home.

I'm just flabbergasted. (I know Jet will have to look that word up).

me too. i've said all along that the spurs are my second-favorite team in the nba. have been for years. never saw this coming. i wonder how much of it is the intensity of that regular season run? people criticize jackson for his passivity, but i think there is something to running a marathon instead of a sprint. of course, when you're halfway through the marathon and you've lapped the competitors, it must be hard to ease back, even if you know you need to.

Damn, dude...you're gonna have to get the mods to change your avatar/member status thing to 'Under Memphis in 5'

Seriously though, I don't think anyone could say they saw this coming. Let's hope (and when I say let's, I mean everyone but you [IMG] ) the Lake Show can avoid the same fate.

I did. I said here that this series could be interesting even before the series started. It's a bad matchup for the Spurs and Memphis knew it, which is why they tanked games to get the 8 seed.

And I like the Spurs in general better than other teams in the West just as a fan, because they play the right way and win championships. I hate when people suck the dicks of newly good teams like OKC and Chi when they haven't won shit.

That being said, I've been saying all season that this regular season run for the Spurs was flukey, and there was no way they'd win it this year. They're just too old and don't have the size. It's sure looking that way right now.

Is that why they injured Ginobili in their final game of the season against each other?

Don't worry...I'm sure that in the next 48 hours a "lifelong" Memphis fan will come post in this thread to weigh in

I've been a fan of the Grizz since their days in VAncouver. I can't believe we are this close to shocking the world! A.J Mayo has been amazing and Zeke Randolph has been a monster. His game reminds me of the glory days of Sheriff Abdul Rasheed! Can't wait for game 5, baby!

Nah, he hurt his leg/knee/quad first when he bumped on Gasol. Then he hurt his elbow on th final game of the season.

Either way.... LETS GO LAKERS GODAMNIT!

The Spurs have tailed off in the second half of the season so this comes as no shock; it was either now or later. I'm surprised that the Magic still don't realize that Dwight is a alley-oop guy not a post guy. He's a bigger and badder Tyson Chandler. That's it. They can get 50 from him a night and lose
