1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

i dunno. i'm so over the big boy. all the gifts in the world and not a lick of common sense. imagine what he could have done if he had a work ethic.

I agree. I was never enamored of him, even when he was in LA. However, he has had a great career and it would just be nice if he could go out with a uniform on, imo.

the only guy who can shut out durant is westbrook (twist on the old line that the only person who could hold michael jordan under 20 ppg was dean smith).

    I lolled. So true.

It's done. Sweet to be able to finally beat the Celts.

I know his haters are not gonna give him any credit, but Lebron was clutch this series

I hate Lebron with a passion but I always give him his due on the court. He's a beast no doubt, dude is just a douche off the court and couldn't keep his mouth shut hence the hate.

Wow, Wade was dominating and Lebron finally remembered what it meant to show up in the closing minutes.

Wade was the best player on the court most nights, not Mebron.

    Congrats.

No, I can't stand LeBron's persona, but as a player he obviously is great and getting even better.

LeBron was classy in the post-game interview, starts right off giving the Celtics their due for being the top dogs for so long. Easy to be magnamious when you finally win one, I suppose.

Whatever anybody says about the Heat, they are just a fabulously entertaining team to watch when at least two of the Big Three are playing well. There's a lot of talent and athleticism on that team.

Wow, Wade was dominating and Lebron finally remembered what it meant to show up in the closing minutes.
I'm sure not being exhausted from carrying 85% of the load for the first 55 minutes helps.

Meh, Lebron was a fairly likable figure before the last year with the Cavs/the decision circus. Atleast in comparison to Kobe, who was pretty disliked right out of the gate. Kobe is an intensely private, brooding asshole (kind of like MJ) while LeBron is a petulant, grossly overgrown manchild.

^^^ Nah, Lebron have been stupid for at least 3 years going now. Remember the no handshake and how he left the arena before talking to the press when they lost to Orlando? Remember the dancing on the side of the court while the game was going on? Remember the stupid egotistical MVP tees? Those are all way before the stupid "decision."

The nba has become terrible to watch. Tonight we watched a team shoot a better field goal percentage, better 3 point percentage, better free throw percentage, and dish out more assists. and somehow lose by 10. why? because the other team enjoyed an almost 2 to 1 free throw advantage, 38-20.

Anyone who watched the second half of that game wasted an hour and a half of their life. Once you realized that Boston shot 55% in the first half and was only up one basket, the writing was pretty much on the wall as far as the outcome because not too many teams can sustain that kind of field goal percentage. That being said, they shot 50% from the field.

Someone call Elias - I'd like to hear how many times a team in the playoffs has shot almost 50% from the field, 46% from 3, and lost by 10.

    NBA Action is Faaaantastic.

I hate it when refereeing overly influences the game too. But you're missing the 8 more TOs Celtics had and 4 more OFF Reb Miami had which means 12 extra possessions for Miami to score. Although Miami only got 2 more shots off than the Celtics they had more possessions to get those fouls by being aggressive.
