1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Wait, are people actually coming to MCWs defense? (ha, no pun intended) The guy is terrible. The Bucks getting Snell straight up for MCW was highway robbery. In fact the Bucks should have the GM of the year for that trade (and accidentally giving Miles Plumlee way too much money and then being able to offload him as well)

Who wants a PG that can't dish and can't shoot. He can barely dribble most days. He was better when he was injured.

    +1

Dude is on his third team (J Kidd was his coach w the 2nd) and has passed the point of no return. I predict he's cut within 2 years.

    Westbrook dropped 58 last night.

How anyone can say he shouldn't be MVP is beyond me.

Thunder +9 with him on the court.
    -5 with him off.

14 point swing is pretty ridiculous

He'll get MVP. Although If I had an actual vote I'd be tempted to sorta-troll and vote for Kawhi

Nurkic tho. Really love this dude. He has this passing game that I haven't seen before.

Plumlee averaged just one assist a game before he played for Stotts...

did not know that. i thought he was always that passing big

i havent seen too many blazers games, but i was under the impression they dont do many high low plays or passes from the elbow using bigs and cutting guards. felt like nurkic saw the rotations coming and made the right passes a lot

    Plumlee's last season in BKLN: 0.9 assists/game
His first season in PDX: 2.8

Portland's offense hasn't really focused that much on high-low (it wasn't Plumlee's strength) but a lot of offense did run through him, more often in space, a la Draymond. Nurk's vision and passing skills are closer to those of (not my, not your) Arvydas.

Nurk seems genuinely happy in Portland and by all accounts has really, really taken to Dame. If he stays happy, well, as cautious as I am I have to admit he has a chance to be a really important piece. That he came with a first, he's cheap, and he's not yet 23 makes it a real win for Portland, imo. Of course all that changes if he pouts again; he was genuinely toxic his last few months in Denver.

if the celtics and warriors are the finals... i guess warriors having home court against the celtics is a disadvantage

Don't look now, everyone, but the Suns are fun! TJ Warren--stone cold midrange. Marquese Chriss--bouncy fast break dunk monster. Tyler Ulis--homeless man's Isaiah Thomas. Derrick Jones Jr.--human highlight reel/hapless flailer. Lots of fun athletes, and the only way they can compete with actual good times (you know, the kind with schemes, discipline, defense, set plays--basketball teams) is to go ham af.

They may not be good, but they're fun, and they go ham af pretty often these days, which is incredibly entertaining. I mean, Jared Dudley headbutted Jason Smith (!) fer fuck's sake.

I meant Isaiah but it does get confusing

A lot of little littles now. IT3, Felder, Ullis. I don't remember there being so many. Nate Robinson in recent memory?

Aaron Brooks, JJ Barea, Isaiah (sp? haha)Canaan, Ty Lawson, Ish Smith...Shit, no way Chris Paul is over 5'10".

But my favorite back in the day was Earl Boykins at 5'5"
