what strikes me about the next draft is how many good teams have a fantastic chance to become a powerhouse if they nail this draft.

the most obvious one being the Celtics, who have 3 first rounders including #3 (lol Nets) and are already a playoff team right now. if one of two above picks Buddy Hield and lets Ingram drop to them...watch out.

and then you've got Minnesota, who has a great core of young talent and picks high. same with NO.

*puts on freshly bought Russ jersey*

Before you guys call me a bandwagon fan,,, my dad's brother's second wife was born and raised in Oklahoma City so naturally I have a rooting interest in their sports teams.

I want celtics to draft Kris Dunn (local kid from CT and went to Providence) with that third pick. legit 6'4" with a 6'9" wingspan, nba ready game/body/head, and has dwayne wade-ish potential.

the top two picks (simmons and ingram) look awesome, but also have very bust like potential.

Don't know about Dunn. Does he still live in Providence?? I wonder if he goes to the FOundry, Providence Place, Seekonk, etc.

I agree. Simmons seems to have all the warning signs of a bust - attitude, poor shooting %, poor team performance. I think Michael Beasley looked better in college (although he didn't get nearly as much hype as Simmons then or prior to the draft).

Ingram seems like the safer pick to me.

LOL @ celebrating the suck behind a draft pick.

I think the Simmons kid was just protecting his body. Nobody seems to care about poor shooting anymore.
