Am I reading warriors fans on this thread talking about how they hope to get Durant??

Just stop. If you've been a fan for more than 10 years this is why you hated the "entitled" Lakers fans for expecting that every star free agent was going to sign wh LA

If Durant leaves OKC it'll only be because he wants a ring. But IMO he's going to stay in OKC. Or at least do a 1 or 2 year contract like Lebron and see what Westbrook does.

I don't see a scenario where SA could pay Durant, although of course we'd love to have him. And how to split the ball between him, Kawhi, and LaMarcus?

Yeah WTF guys, everyone knows Durant is going to the Lakers. Warriors fans need to learn how to be entitled.

Meh, the only reason that I'm talking about it is because there have been a lot of rumours that they are making a play for him.

Come on, someone who got the "Big Three" in Miami due to player collusion has no reason to gripe.

tis a natural topic of conversation:

H Barnes isn't signed yet so the question is which free agent might be in play? answer: Durant.

ironically, the drumbeats are beginning in LA to go get Barnes.

if barnes wants to assume a higher profile, featured scorer type role, GSW can't keep him. dude is like 4th option these days and Steph and Klay are made men. I assume that if he gets a 2nd ring this season it will be the end of his stay in Oakland and he will get paid and assume a cornerstone role. Whether he is worth paying is of course up to idfnl.

and the Lakers are still the Lakers just ask Luke Walton.

Vogel fired. Bird says he wants more offense. That's what the Kings wanted after dumping Malone.

    ____

    Toronto imploding.

The Heat so richly deserve to lose this game. 20+ turnovers, playing the whole 2nd half and OT with iso-Joe and iso-Wade. Ugly

Didn't Luol Deng used to be a pretty good basketball player?

It wasn't Thibs, from that part of the world age fraud is rampant in soccer, so you never know how old guys really are. As a betting man, I'd peg Deng at 38 to 40, he's almost certainly not 31.

For example, remember that 14 year old US wonderkid Freddy Adu? Born in Ghana, from age 14 to 20, he never grew an inch, had a man's body, and was seen as this child prodigy... sure when you're 24 playing against 14 yr olds. This guy Nwanko Kanu was also a famous example, at "17" he made a big money move, then about 6 years later needed heart surgery, then stories started to emerge that he was almost 40 playing as a 23 yr old.

First a wacky GM, now a tin foil hat believer in conspiracies. What will you think of next? :)

Big game for the Spurs tonight. Need a win in OKC and for Kawhi to come alive on the offensive end. A few 3s from Danny Green in a hostile gym would do nicely as well.

Fair enough. This was the first time I've watched more than a few minutes of a Heat game this playoff season, so my comments were based just on how he looked last night.

Still ok for his age, I say.
