I think the reason eople discount the Spurs is because they don't realize how good some of the younger talent is. And how deep they go. Just my .02.

No, it's because the Lakers are the western conference champs from the past 3 years, and back to back world champs, which makes them the favorite to get out of the west for as long as they have kobe, pau, lamar and andrew.

Just noticed but I've clinched the playoff spot in the fantasy league. Woot!

[IMG] I still don't think I'm going to win it all though even being #1 for most of the season. Injuries are killing me, now DWill might miss a few games around fantasy playoff time. This is going to be 3 straight years my #1 pick will miss the playoffs. [IMG]

Losing Noah was a huge loss for my team. I don't think I could recover if it's you I have to meet in the finals.

Who were your players that missed the playoffs?

Bosh & Granger last year was my #1 & #2 picks and thye missed the last significant time in the final weeks. I think Bosh broke a tooth and never came back, Granger returned but wasn't 100%. The year before that, it was Caron Butler. This year, DWill and Rudy Gay, my 1st and 4th pick. I was actually pissed you dropped Noah and the guy who dropped Jennings. I wanted to grab them and stash them but I used up my picks that week.

Man, I actually forgot for the last couple weeks that I had a Sf fantasy team :O

Oh, and every fantasy team gets injuries. Fact of fantasy life. At least NBA is a lot less problematic than NFL

I doubt everyone loses their 1st picks 3 years in a row though. [IMG]

Has anyone else read the SI article on Derrick Rose this weeK?

A trainer, Rob McClanaghan, worked with 3 NBA players in a Santa Monica gym over 2 months last summer. 2-a-days, 6 days a week. Other NBA players were welcome, but all dropped out because they couldn't handle the schedule/work-load.

The 3 players who stuck it out?

    Derrick Rose.
    Kevin Love.
    Russell Westbrook.

    Daaaaaaaaamn!!!!
