I told you all Chauncey would be the key to that trade. The man is CLUTCH.

Argh, was hoping the knicks would lose so the sixers could virtual-tie them in the standings....

Yeah, those last few playoff spots are going be hotly contested. I can see Philly moving up.

He'll be even with Felton for the next 2. Then, he'll either retire, or turn into the next Derek Fisher. Meanwhile, the league will conspire to get CP3 or DWill into a Knicks uni in 2012. Bank on that.

I'd love to see it, but I dunno how they afford it.

i bet on the opposite. the league's new CBA will conspire to have a bunch of small market teams win like OAK, ORL, and atlanta to provide "NFL-Like Parity" only this way they have them become dynasties like the Spurs, Houston, or "bad boy pistons".

OKC looks prime to become a dynasty. to have great ratings you only need to have a big market team reach deep into the playoffs or finals.

parity (or at least the illusion of it) is the best way to create gambling opportunity.

He's a big point guard with a good 3-point shot and good free throw stats. He'll last longer than you expect because his height allows him to mask lost of speed, and the shot will be the last thing to go (and the height never will go). Just pair him up with a fast guard and have him take the slower guy on D. He'll still get burned, but not as bad as if he was 5'11" with no speed and no shot.

Chauncey won the game for the Knicks last night. On the road in his second knick game against the second best team in the conference. The key offensive and defensive end game plays were his. I realize I'm sort of a Felton hater, but will he ever reach that level of leadership? The CP3 to knicks scenario will not happen unless someone takes a huge paycut, but it did make me think....if the league contracts the Hornets, what happens to the players? Are they all suddenly FA's for the highest bidder? Or do they hold a draft or something? [IMG]

Bank this - one of the big 3 free agents will end up in NY. The league will not let the chance for NY to become relevant pass them by. SOMEHOW this will happen.

Damn, all these left overs and buy-outs are going to make these strong teams stronger. Bibby being bought out might go to Miami, Powe going back to Celtics, etc... Last day for these transactions are tomorrow so we'll see who else gets added to these already good teams. Bibby in Miami just makes them even more stacked.

VERY nice win. held oklahoma to 31 points in the second half. drew had 5 blocks. ron-ron smothered durant. team drew 5 charges, including big ones by kobe and pau. that's the way to beat a really good team even when the offense isn't clicking.
and is it just me, or is that the second game in a row the lakes have gotten totally hammered by the refs?
