1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Do we have the last 2 for the fantasy league? We need to schedule a draft.

Well looks like Lamar Odom will soon be dead. I remember him in college literally carrying the team all by himself, and thinking how great he was going to be in the NBA. Shame.

i love this new blazers team. they have a lot of dudes that could be really good/are already quite good. besides lillard, mccollum, leonard, they got ed davis, plumlee, vonleh, crabbe, and aminu for pretty good long term contracts. mccollum looks so good, leonard's shot is silky. they got hustle guys. they got a solid center and stretch fours, lockdown perimeter defenders. they just need like two guys to really step their game up. it would be enough to draw a huge free agent i think

also nerlens noel and okafor looking really good

Planned to attend the Grizz last home preseason game yesterday against T-Wolves but saw all the starters didn't even dress Friday against OKC so squashed that plan. Turns out the starters played just under 30 minutes and the T-Wolves young stars each logged 20+ minutes. Fuck me.

It's a pretty optimistic viewpoint given that they just lost LA for nothing. But I do like Vonleh though

I like McCollum a lot. And Leonard. I just like what they did with that team. They're all going to be at least very good bench players if not starters in a year or two

You said it - it's Lillard surrounded by a bunch of solid rotation players. Quality guys (except for Aminu, who I don't get why he stays in rotations), but I don't think they're going to be a hot FA destination unless they're the top bidder.

But Dame is going to put up first round fantasy numbers this year. His usage rate is going to be insane

I'm more excited by this Blazers team than last year's

I've tried to retire from fantasy sports. I get too obsessive about it [IMG]

Football was the worst. Too few games, too much variance and depending on luck (not Andrew) and injuries. At least basketball and baseball have a large enough sample size that the outlier impacts are minimized, and you generally find your efforts rewarded if you scout well and stay on top of news and trends

I'm actually doing pretty well in football. I'm using The Huddle, and it's helped me quite a bit.

Biggest breakout star of the next season? I'm thinking the Greek Freak from Milwaukee :)
