Yeah, I forgot. Wasn't Barnes like 0-9 or something?

Think HB was 0-8 and Draymond 2-10. Both were huge the first three series of playoffs but have disappeared in finals.

it seems cavs plan is to leave Barnes Iggy and Dray wide open. There were a few times last night when dray straight up passed on a wide open three to try and go for a drive. Basically turning the Tony Allen strategy back on the Warriors.

Lebron is awesome - can't give him too much credit. As for Cleveland's injuries, I would love to see Kevin Love out there instead of Tristan Thompson. Tristan is absolutely demolishing us on the offensive glass and is one of the few 4's in the league with the size and strength to take advantage of Dray's size. That was true even when Draymond was at 100% but he's injured now. Similarly Mozgov is one of the few 5's active and athletic enough to consistently beat Bogut.

The Warriors only chance in the series is to tire Cleveland's starting 5 out earlier in the game and withstand the onslaught. The playoffs generally and the finals in particular are very different from a cadence standpoint and negate some of the W's huge advantages in roster depth and help Cleveland which has a short bench right now. How much worse off would Cleveland be if they didn't have this much time off in between games? They get Lebron for 45+ minutes a night. None of this is to take away from what Cleveland is doing, but to say that the Warriors advantage isn't as sizable as it first appeared.

Also wouldn't hurt if the Warriors could start hitting open 3's again.

What if the warriors did the same thing to lebron? Get the ball out of his hands and aggressively front and deny passes like how the cavs try to get Steph to pass and make dray play 4v3 only they force dray to try and score against mozgov

^ You basically telling them to trap/double/etc. LBJ?? I'm iffy on that personally. The last thing I was is a downpour by the likes of Shump, JR, Jones, and yes even Mike Miller.

I honestly don't think it's the defense that's the problem. Offensively, they look lost (till that late surge last night) and aren't making open shots.

I mean like pressing hard when he's dribbling the ball up court so he passes for somebody else to ball handle (which all they have is Delly). And then once Delly has the ball make it really hard for lebron to get the ball on the low block for a post up. Barnes is tall enough to deny entry passes but not strong enough to defend lebron well 1v1.

If the ball is there just let lebron post up 1v1 and deny all other passes and especially deny penetration

They're pretty smart about not doubling tho. They only half step towards him and scamper out.

But Blatt did stop running post up over and over. They tried to screen lebron with Delly a ton to get Steph to switch on him

Anyways. Something has to change. They can't just keep playing what they've been doing. When David Lee came in they were really good and that was like his first time in the finals

^ Oh okay, gotcha. Yeah, that would make sense. More often than not, LeBron basically walks the ball up the court, settles at the key, and does LeBron things. Rinse and repeat.

But like I said, defensively, they've been pretty solid. They just need get out of this funk offensively. I think stats show CLE actually has a higher 3pt % rn.....that's unacceptable

Yeah. I also feel like it's less of something warriors are doing bad and more that Cleveland is doing good. They're basically saying everybody else besides curry and klay has to score for them to win and it's working. Iggy and dray can't shoot well enough to punish them and Barnes has been streaky
How much LeBron paying these refs fam [IMG] #hoodclips #nochillvines

The point about Cleveland tiring is a good one, it's what sunk the Clippers. While CLE has been admirable in their effort, they'll succumb to fatigue eventually.

this. cleveland has been playing balls to the wall and it's been great to watch. but they're only up 2-1. they're like the cavalry in one of those old westerns, where the indians just keep coming. i think gsw will regroup, start hitting hte occasional open shot and their depth will carry them through.

Warriors playing much better. Running more basic PnRs for Curry. Green, as the release, is being more decisive and either finishing or making the proper pass. Lee is still a great rolling big man and is a better match up than Bogut for this series. Bogut is just looking slow and worn down out there. Mozgov is significantly more springy, so limiting Bog's minutes is a good move.

And Igloo's athleticism is still incredible.

If GSW loses this series, it will be because of one thing - rebounding.

Yes, Lebron has been all-time great this finals, but the Warriors have the horses to stay with him. But the rebounding is killing them

The two days rest before game 5 will greatly benefit the Cavs. Is it one game rest for the others?

Lebron sits for like a minute and a half to start the 4th and the lead goes from 4 to 10. The Cavs are really pathetic without him.

Reversal of fortunes. Dubs hitting their open shots and Cavs missing all their opportunities.

In sort of NBA related events, the #1 thread on Reddit right now is about Lebron accidentally flashing his dick to the camera.

And yes, it did actually happen. So there's that.

Well to be fair if you take out the Dubs top 3 players (Curry, Klay and Green) and have players who were overachieving and playing way more minutes than they are used to and are fatigued, chances are the Dubs will probably be as pathetic to start the 4th too.
