I'm on the prowl for a navy cotton unconstructed blazer to wear this spring and summer. So far I have found these 3 decent options:

1) Charles Tyrwhitt

2) Suit Supply

3) J Crew

I'm liking the patch pocket versions of CT and Suit Supply. Does anyone have other similar options in this $150-400 price range?

I live in Louisville and will not be visiting any large cities in the near future, so please don't suggest that I go to a Barneys warehouse sale or a boutique in LA. I need ideas from online shops.

Though I'm leaning towards either #1 or #2 I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who is looking to buy items for their spring wardrobe. Grazie in advance.

I've been looking around for the same, though not necessarily in cotton, for some travelling this summer. As long as it's unstructured, with minimal lining, and lightweight, it's good. Let us know what you end up choosing, and how it works for you.

For those of you interested I purchased the Tyrwhitt jacket in a 38R. I am 6'1", 155lbs, lanky, square shoulders. The color of the jacket was great, as was the patch pockets and double vent. But I found 2 big problems:

1) The sleeves are a good 1.25" too short. Normally the sleeves of a 38 are spot on or a hair short for me. Unfortunately, with functional buttonholes, chopping this much means the buttons would be right at the end.

2) There is a hefty collar gap on both sides (see pic). It seems like the opening is just cut too wide (it is a 'classic fit' afterall). The only position where the gap goes away is if I scrunch my shoulders (slouch) forward.

Sending it back. Back to the search.

(note the gap on the left of my neck and the back right)
