Does anyone have an example of a navy blazer with MOP buttons? I just picked up a casual, wool/cotton mix blazer with patch pockets. Right now it has black plastic buttons that I'll want to change. I'm thinking of doing white MOP buttons, but I'd like to see what It looks like first.

And yes, I did search this. There's a lot of talk here about this, but I can't find a picture of it. Thanks in advance...

Sounds like a terrible idea. Go with horn buttons.

Don't want to hijack, but thoughts on burnished silver buttons? I have a navy blazer and I think it'd look sharp.

Horn would work, I suppose. But a solid blazer with standard horn seems like an orphan to me. It would have to be in a color that shows otherwise.

I'm down for this too, just curious to see it in action.

Don't worry about it. I'm just looking for options - silver seems too formal for the blazer that I have, but I've seen it done well.

Or you could do what I (and Vox and Manton) did. Reversible buttons :p

I believe he meant it like this, as an expression of astonishment:
