Some months ago I bought a Lauren Ralph Lauren blazer probably in the low $100's. Has brass buttons which I like. This was before I knew the brand wasn't known for good quality. I found this online at Indochino (on sale ): https://www.indochino.com/product/harrogate-navy-blazer though I'd really like brass buttons. Also looking for an off-white linen blazer for the summer. Thanks. Opinions on the Indochino blazer?

Buttons are easy to change. A seam ripper and a five-minute YouTube video (and needle and thread, of course) and you can have brass buttons on any blazer you buy. I'm terrible at sewing but I still learned to sew a button; it's an easy job.

Last time I checked, a few years ago at an SF Meet-Up at the
local Indochino store, it was obvious that the merchandise
was junk. That was the consensus of the other SF members
who attended.

well that's unfortunate. I am going to try Bonobos based on the recommendation of dappered.com as I'd like to spend no more than $500. I could also wait for a Brooks Brothers sale.

This is a little out of your price range but its from a company known for Neapolitan tailoring and linen jackets.

Personally, I’d go with this over similarly priced Brooks Brothers, at least for a summery jacket. Brooks Brothers might be what you are looking for regarding brass button blazers.

I wouldn’t go with Bonobos. I definitely wouldn’t go with Bonobos if the prices are equivalent to sale-level BB or the above Rubinacci.

One important note is the above jacket seems to be unconstructed. If you want a jacket that’s built up then you should pass on the above. A linen unconstructed jacket is nice but if it’s not what you are looking for then it’s not what you are looking for.

JCrew has a bunch of linen and wool/linen/cotton blend jackets right now for the $40-$90 range.

Spier and Mackay?: https://www.spierandmackay.com/cream-linen.html

I wonder if I shouldn't just get a Navy Blazer linen incase I need it for a future job. I will be getting a navy blazer for non-summer months already. found this also, although I believe their more expensive lines would go on sale at some point: https://www.brooksbrothers.com/Regent-Fit-BrooksCool®-Blazer/MD00078,default,pd.html?dwvar_MD00078_Color=NAVY&contentpos=14&cgid=0218&cmp=AFC_US_CJ_Dappered_www.brooksbrothers.com_4025845&utm_medium=affiliates&utm_source=cj&utm_campaign=4025845&cvosrc=affiliate.cj.&cjeventid=9a184d74a4f511e9834100ab0a24060c

Spier Mackay cream linen. I have it and it's excellent.

Paul Stuart " made in Canada" probably means Samuelsohn,
a high quality manufacturer. I used to be a PS customer and was
always satisfied with their clothing until they effectively abandoned
the natural shoulder for most of their lines.
