I'm well aware this line of furniture is probably rather pleb to many here, but to any with insight as to their general quality of construction, long term comfort, and durability, I would appreciate your input.

We have a sofa from Natuzzi. It is fairly comfortable and made with decent leather. Also, it is fairly reasonably priced. My lower back does better on the firmer sofa in our house, which is Ligne Roset Togo. We bought Natuzzi before the LR. I would not go back to Natuzzi now, but it's Ok.

John, how does price compare to your new piece, and why would you not go back?

I have Natuzzi sofas, but in all honesty I wouldn't buy them again. They're ok for the price, but next time I'm going for Rolf Benz or Poltrona Frau.

The Natuzzi is a 3-seat sofa, top-grain leather: $1030. Note that to keep the price down, Natuzzi only uses top-grain on the parts that see wear (seat, arms), whereas on the sides and back they use split grain. They use aniline dyes. The Ligne Roset Togo sofa with arms is more like 2.5 seats, alcantra (microsuede): $4360 The Togo has more support on lower back, cooler-looking.

Had no idea they were that inexpensive. Thanks for the clue in.

I had a Natuzzi sofa. Its frame went broken after few months of normal use (I was wonering why one side was lower). Natuzzi sent someone replacing the broken wood piece as part of its warranty. My furniture salesman was nice enough to replace it with another sofa anyway. I would not buy this brand again.

Important to know that Natuzzi has 3 lines, with the top line (Italia) being excellent and very expensive, the middle line (Editions) being more reasonably priced and very good, and the lowest line (I forget the name) being more budget oriented & lower quality.

So, impressions and reviews on Natuzzi can vary wildly because they put out products at different levels of quality.

The ~$1K price for a sofa (quoted in an earlier post) is less than half the price of the typical middle-tier Editions line (a four-piece set of which I recently bought), likely corresponding to their budget line.

I'm sure it's possible for find couches nicer than even their highest line, but you're talking $$$$.
