I'm really bummed the Flames didn't get Draisatl - big skilled centres in the Getzlaf mold are hard to come by. He'll add much needed size to the Oilers top six.

Ah, who am I kidding - the Oilers are going to ruin him.

I'm still mourning the Hawks. A seventh game overtime loss hurts way more than being swept in the first round. :(

PK Subban with good style at the NHL awards, he could definitely follow his career with some time on the NHL network

Spezza to Dallas (not bad ... in a market with "no good centers", Dallas has managed two pick up 2 good ones in 12 months)

That Orpik signing  sorry gort.

Happy with Calgary's moves. Don't care too much for Raymond but I like the Hiller signing. Mad that Cammy didn't resign in Calgary, but it wasn't unexpected. Love the Engelland signing... More pugnacity and truculence.

Not encouraging first moves coming from a new GM. I'd be more worried about the future damage he'll do if he's dishing out contracts like that to Orpik and Niskanen.

At least those guys can play hockey though. Still trying to wrap my head around how a face-puncher like Engelland earns 3m/year, or how Bollig is worth a 3rd rounder for that matter. Thank goodness Calgary has cap space to burn.

I am fucking pumped to see Hiller's Koho swag in Calgary colours. Hillers masks and getup in Flames vintage thirds would be unmatchable steeze.

Yea hopefully Hiller sticks with Koho. Not sure if he will because it's a goalie monkey thing in SoCal and he goes into the store to take care of his orders.

What's next? Green getting 5 years, Erskine for 6? At least GMBM got D. If Holtby can pull it together they may be competitive this year.
Change is coming to DC, I barely recognize tiny ted anymore.
Richards to Chi is the first signing in a slowing of the team, just my opinion.

As a hockey goalie I have to chuckle when people are getting excited over a soccer goalie making 16 saves in a game for a world record.

it's 1 year and they have a top prospect who will probably be ready to compete for a top 6 role in the few seasons.

Yeah, interested to see how Teravainen turns out. Hyped up to be the 2nd coming of Jesus by Hawks fans but even if he can get to a Granlund-like level on that Hawks team, they're good.
