    I named my son John. Common yes but I was looking for an international name. Most people know how to spell it and pronounce it where ever he goes.

    Could be. I named my daughter Intelle and I haven't gotten any legal hassles about it.

    in colombia you have a lot of working class people named after famous americans and brits, but spelled incorrectly - laydi die; truman; kenaday; etc

    I named each of my kids with a name that could be spanish, hebrew or american. and gave them a relativly common middle name, so if they didn't like their first name they could fall back on it.

    Man, you foolios don't know much about names! Have you ever heard of Lindsey Buckingham? (And don't tell me the e makes all the difference because that's just foolishness.)

    The worst girl-boy name is Kim, hands down. Not because it's super girly or anything. It's just really overused.
